Artist's Comments

So, I'm officially on vacation right now, which is why I have been quiet on the myriad of online sites I'm a member of, it's nothing personal, I'm just visiting people who like to have jam-packed holiday trips. :fear:

This was my final project for intermediate 3D-modeling, and it was my first organic model ever... thus it was a nightmare, and the finished model ended up missing a lot of what made the character that character. :/ But I got it done on time, and learned a lot, so I guess that's what matters.

Oh yeah, and it's BlackMatryx.

Way better than my inter3D character was, maybe even better than my adv3D character. Good jawb.

Very good stuff! I've never been able to have the patience for fullbore organic modeling. But.... where's her tail? :O_o:

Very nice job! Two things though, where's her antennae and tail? I assume you are going to finish her later since you didn't have time before you turned her in? Are you going to color her? I hope you are having a great time on vacation!

Her tail is hiding... between her legs... pretending to be something else. :paranoid:

Okay, fine, I didn't model it... I couldn't figure out how to maintain all quads with it. :XD:

Aww, thank you Toren! :D :hug:
:iconmichellemh:
Thanks, I almost killed myself modeling it, but it was a great learning experience. ^^;

1. I didn't have time to model her antennae and tail, plus it would be too difficult to work them in now due to the mesh's edge flow.

2. You can't "color" a model, it's very complicated, and to do it properly I would need to UV unwrap which is something I haven't learned yet. :XD:
